anyone knows where to get the DOD YJM overdrive pedal?
Also, how much is Davis selling the ZW-44 pedal?
thanks.

i m not sure about other places, but i do know that gain10 music is selling ZW-44 for 166. I'll check out the price at davis later today.

same for me, but my obstacles r the lack of experience, yet to try them out. 2ndly, i lack the financial support to experiment. I'll give u a sms after i gave davis a visit later today.

You're gonna have to watch the use of the DOD YJM if you get one. On a clean channel alone you're never gonna get a good sound. It sounds a lot better on a channel with slight dirt. Noisy pedal with the gain turned up all the way too. And note it has less bass than the DOD250.

most probably. YJM's lead tone was never bassy to begin with. I also find the absence of a tone knob off-putting. The only OD pedal I know with just 2 knobs.

Definitely look into mods. I'm sick of the thin crappy tones I've been getting from stock pedals (boss, ibanez, etc), and finally got my SD-2 overdrive modded. It makes an incredible difference. For once, I'm actually very happy with the tone I get from my gear.

The classic boss ds-1 distortion is a very famous pedal, but the stock pedal sounds like watered down @*!*&#(@$ compared to a properly modded one. I just happened to play with a custom modded version of the DS-1 compared to my stock version, and I was simply blown away by the depth and richness of the tone.

These pedals are capable of far better sound than they deliver.

supposed to be a modification of the SD-1, which I really like. So it can't be bad I guess. But i've heard issues about it's durability.
