the Dan Electro Wasabi i am selling.
which is also my favourite OD pedal. Prefer this over the TSes. There is a clean boost which isn't that harsh sounding on the pedal. with the OD button on the right.

a typical OD unit has drive in it- there's no cleans to be had. i think you need a clean booster to boost your drive tone.

The Katana seems massive, I mean like good stuff~
If you just want a good absolute clean boost, Seymour Duncan Pickup booster man. It can KILL your amp.
If not, Maxon OD9 is great when you turn the overdrive down and volume up, just that little grit that works on those tele sounding licks~ good for clean chords too on a middle-neck position playing.

the Duncan pickup booster has 2 modes (1 & 2) which are more suitable for single coils. the remaining mode (mode 0) is a neutral module, works well with all PU types 8)

im looking into smth like the maxon OD9, turn the gain all the way down n max the vol. but i believe its too expensive to do jus dat...

do keep your options open. there are many pedals within the BB-2's price bracket, among others:

'poor man's version' is lazy journalism for exhausted classification.
using 2 OD units simultaneously- definitely workable. Kenny Wayne Shepperd did use 3 Tubescreamers in a single line up.

Absolutely clean boost, probably ODs are not it. Unless you get some combination pedals, like Carl Martin Drive N Boost, which is essentially an OD and a clean boost. Price not so friendly but it does its job well.
