Try some Green Day or Blink 182 songs. You can simplify the drumbeats for your drummer. Alternatively, try some really simplistic radio-friendly pop songs, as they are generally quite easy to play also.

If you dig it, than you can try to ask the female vocalist to sing the "recommended" songs our fellow softies have recommended.
vindicated damn easy. If i'm not wrong, it's 4 chords only. If you guys are christians, you can start out with hillsongs. Most of their songs are very easy eg. 'one way' 'now that you're near' etc etc
lydia not tt easy on guitar..i think english songs got more choice for female vocal..if i din rmb wrong the corrs is a good choice for female vocal band..do consider!
