Noisy Nova Delay

Hi all,


Asking on behalf of a friend. He imported a Nova delay from the States. When he plugs the delay into this rig, there is an unbearable amount of noise that is unnatural and renders it unusable. Any similar experience from US pedal buyers?

What is it powered by? Is the power supply from the US as well?

Yeap it's the US adapter that he's using.

Maybe the us 110v under powering the nova delay causing the noise

You can't use the US PSU in Singapore, it might even cause the pedal to blow. Singapore's voltage for the mains is 230v, but in the states it's 110v. So you'll be over powering the pedal. I think the best solution for him is to get a local isolated psu that has a 12v output for the nova delay.

Yup whatever the above guys said. Can't use the US adapter with the one here.

Hopefully the pedal is fine.

Hey thanks for the input guys. I must warn him not to use the included adapter!
