About Monochrome

The word “monochrome” tends to invoke thoughts of simplicity. However, the bilingual alternative-rock band Monochrome is anything but simple. It believes that music transcends language, gender or religion, and the band’s music finds a delicate balance between 2 very different cultures and traditions – the East and the West. With songs that are emotive and steeped in rock anthems and power-driven arrangements, the band wants to make every song count, regardless of today’s ever-changing musical trends. http://www.monochrome.sg

i happened to walk by.. you guys were not bad. but was it just me or was the lead guitarist inaudible?

Thks pple..

Hey Daryl,

Yea Sai Soe's lead guitar was quite muted cos I think the sound guy pushed up his volume in the MONITOR rather than thru the mains. :) But nonetheless, thank you for the kind words. It was a first for MONOCHROME playing an acoustic set, haha. So we're kinda glad it didn't turn out to be a nightmare! Yikes!! Hahaha...

It was truly a very enjoyable experience for all of us... amidst the entire F1 frenzy hahaha.. :)

Cheers,

Darren Karma
