I paid 400 SGD :D ... really good deal IMO when most Standards 2nd hand now are around 500+

Was plannig to get a Rally GL 300 but when I can get a Epiphone Standard it doesn't make sense to let a deal like this go

Also the plain top standard is Out of Production now... Makes it more attractive for me :)

I'd go for the Rally for tone wise. But then again, the only Epi standard that are easily available in the market is the ebony standard... I guess it's a good find for you. And where'd you get the case from?

Anyway, Happy New Guitar Day!

Well I liked the Rally but I wanted a Les Paul Original guitar and Epi was a bit out of budget as a new guitar...

Got the case from a store near Swee Lee... Was roaming around looking for a case for my guitar... The Epi hard case new is 140 SGD in Swee Lee so when I found this case which was perfectly fine on the inside I took it :)... In fact I like the stickers and wear on the case... Gives it a vintage look :P

You got a really good price for the case IMO. We all know for sure that you'd treasure this guitar. Saving up for something does have it's benefits. you'd learn to treasure your instrument more.

Thanks everyone :)
