Hi,

im currently having trouble finding a solution on how to stack a 15" SWR Black Beauty and a 10" SWR Spellbinder Blue together with a SMARVO head. i want to create a seperate mid and low tone from my amp. so what am i suppose to do if i have two combo amp and a head? is there a way to fix all together or i have to use it individually instead?

u'll need to see the connection options that you have on the head and the two combos. your smarvo head also has to have 2 channels for you to eq them differently :)

i check up the web b4 but it doesnt say anything about stacking up a combo amp, thx anyway. in terms of knowing about the watts n impendence it's quite usefull.

i've tried that but i just couldn't get the tone that i wanted, when i crank up the volume, it started sounding cracking. is there a chance that i could just use the speaker bt not the built in amp, n yeah, my smarvo head gt 2 channel.

if you want to use your SMARVO head you gotta disconnect the heads of the combo amp from the speakers itself.

This way your SMARVO can be used as an amp to drive either speakers. I think you want to use one speaker for low frequencies and another for the mids and the highs right? You need a crossover preamp to do that. Something that is able to seperate the frequency bands to either speakers. I don't have much experience with heads and cabs but i doubt most heads have such a capability to do so. If i'm not wrong some heads do have a crossover in-built in them.

Your combo amps have a head in-built in them already. So using your SMARVO to connect to them is driving the signal too much which results in distortion. I think that explains the crackling sound.

yo!! thxs man.. great idea.. got a crossover preamp 3 mths back.. n now.. i got the balancing of th highs n lows.. smaller speaker i use it for th highs n bigger one i use for the lows.. n the setting is preety much mess up.. but still.. got the sound.. thxs for the advice XDD
