New To Music & Bass

hi, i'm a beginner of bass, and i plan to buy a bass guitar.
how's your new bass guitar? Is it suitable for a new player?

how is the output from the 15W amp? As it is a waste if the amp were not really good...
thx for your time dude....

15W is sufficient for practise amp. Infact for beginners you dont really need good (such as tube) and powerful amps as you are still learning the instruments.

Start gassing for better axe, amp, stomp boxes when you think you are ready.

Meanwhile, enjoy it as much as you can!

hi there, i'm intend to play the bass guitar without an amp, but with the earphone n my laptop(as my house not allowed me to play with amp), any different or the sound wont be very good?
any recommendations with a budget of 300-400 for a beginner bass guitar?
thank you~

arh.. electric guitar :X i don't have any friends who play bass guitar :(

ah amp can pluck in headphone or earphone, than no sound is produce through the amp speaker but through the earphones

i saw the advertisement of the city music, and it cost $350++ of the package(bass n amp, etc)
so i would rather spend the $350++ for a single better bass guitar(use earphone and laptop) instead of the package.

i not sure if bass can directly connect to speaker or laptop ;s cause if im not wrong they take abit electricty from the amp. maybe you can ask around.

yes you can connect to pc/laptop audio in port, provided the impedance is matched. usually no problem if it's active bass (meaning the bass needs battery to work). if the pc has decent desktop speakers (with sub woofer), the sound could be better than low grade bass amp.

no, the signal from bass may be too weak to drive a earphone/headphone directly. you'll probably need a gadget in between - such as vox amplug (check city music).
