New to guitar

Hello all. :D

I have some questions to ask about. I have googled around before posting but i was confused by the different information and answers.

I bought a 2nd hand Ibanez gsa60 a few weeks ago, and i noticed the frets as well as the silver part of the pickups are dull and seem to have very slight rusting. Does lemon oil help to clean it up? May i know where to get them and isit any type of cloth can be used?

Are there any basic maintenances that are needed to be done regularly?

I intend on getting a Metal Muff and may i know approx. how much isit?, so as to not get ripped off.

Thanks.

Try STANDARD VALUE

Not sure if lemon oil works, but its advisable to send the guitar for a complete check-up and a re-set-up every year or so. So yeah, go and get it set-up. That's usually the most major maintenance you'd need.

price indicated in the Metal Muff review...

lemon oil is used to re-moisturized open grained wood eg: rosewood fretboard. it does not remove rust. you can remove rust by using a low grade sand paper/ steel wool available @ hardware shops.

By the way bro, which Metal Muff are you looking for?
The Nano one, the Micro one, or the one with the Top Boost? Lol..

the metal muff retails at ebenex at $184 i think. i got mine at $148 due to the 1 week sale which ended today (saturday) :D

love all my MMs...
