New Bosphorus Production Video

Wow.. bosphorus is more traditional than istanbul.. in terms of most of the labour work...

kudos bosphorus for making great sounding cymbals!!

oh btw, is that place really cold?? they wear really thick clothing on the hot oven and also while hammering..

Hope one day I can be there to hammer my own cymbals... haha... can ask Accent whether got lobang or not... maybe I should spend my retirement there and hammer cymbals for the Singapore market... 8)

wah go istanbul... can go see the bosphorus river.. heard the chicks there are really hot.. saw some on Youtube... woo. though many wear headscarfe but they're really2 hot.. hahaha

wow that video really was enlightening.
from the furnace to the way they hammer.

Myner, if you're looking at Bosphorus, you might wanna checkout the Gold series.

I've read quite a bit about them being suitable for metal/rock.

The description from Bosphorus' website makes them sound like hand hammered A customs

Handmade cymbals with a modern sound...bright, crisp and clean without sounding harsh or brittle. The Gold series fuses the "old world" warmth of handmade cymbals with the cutting power, projection, and durability desired by drummers playing in contemporary settings. Each Gold Series cymbal is hand hammered, then buffed to a brilliant finish. The weights of the Gold Series rides offer maximum response with plenty of projection. The crashes are explosive and cutting, yet warm. The hats offer a clear powerful chick sound with a bright splash. The Gold Series is a must for any musical situation where powerful focused cymbals are required.

If you're looking at turkish pies in general, the other option would be Istanbul Alchemys.

wa myner MIA damn long already leh you. haha. ok i like bosphorus too. i'll get some one day. yea. as for the gold series its very bright. check out the web cymbalsonly. there are sound samples there. yea. i think you check the sounds out. suit your preference to you hearing liking.

Myner... the reason i suggested Turkish Classic rather than Bosphorus Gold is that the former has a widee range of sizes and it is less expensive than than the latter.

Go to Accent and check it out... some sizes already out of stock... Bosphorus now has 8/14/16/20 box set... you may want to place an order with Accent... 8)

oh okay thanks you guys, i might check it out, cos i'm looking for some sounds contrasting from my 2 sabian hhx's.
might be looking for a pair of hats, and i saw that the prices are quite cheap for hand hammered cymbals, so i thought maybe give it a try, you know...
any thing from bosphorus that resembles aax stage hats?
