The innovative Ovation iDea electric/acoustic guitar is the first guitar in the world to feature a built-in MP3 recorder. Capable of recording up to 100 minutes of high-quality audio recording, the iDea features a MP3 playback function that allows you to play the songs that you have recorded, or jam along with an MP3 backing track of your choice. It also makes it easy for you to create entirely new songs by simultaneously recording your guitar, mp3 backing track or even vocals using the onboard mic built into the preamp. The MP3 playback also features a "Tempo" function that allows you to slow down the speed of a song without changing the pitch, making it an ideal learning tool.
Easily manage your MP3 files in the iDea with you computer via USB connectivity. The iDea also comes included with audio lessons and jam tracks preloaded by the Ovation team. Additional songs/backing tracks/lessons/updates are also available online via www.ovationidea.com/. The iDea still offers its core preamp features with volume, bass, mid, and treble slider controls, built-in tuner, headphone jack, mic input jack, as well as a backlit LCD display and joystick for ease of use.
