[New Arrival] AC4TV Tube Amp Combo by Vox

I called City Music yesterday and one of the staff told me that the next shipment of the AC4TV will come in July. I am not sure if the head+cab or the 8 watt version will also come in July or within the next 1-2 months as posted by city music here.

City Music, if you are listening, can you provide confirmed availability info for the all the models. Also can you provide more info regarding this 8 watt version you mentioned.

Hi teleplayer and juanpepe,

The next shipment of the Vox AC4TV (10" speaker) will be arriving in July '09. The AC4TV Head & Cab will be arriving together with the AC4TV8 (8" speaker) in August '09. Specifications for the AC4TV combo and the AC4TV head and cab can be found at www.voxamps.com.

The AC4TV8 is a smaller version of the AC4TV in terms of size as it features an 8" speaker instead of the 10". Currently, only the AC4TV (10") is being sold in the US, and only the AC4TV8 (8") is being sold in Japan. VOX R&D in Japan mentioned that as homes in Japan are typically smaller, an 8" version would be more popular than a 10" version.

Another difference between these 2 is that the AC4TV features 1/4, 1 and 4 Watt output, while the AC4TV8 features 1/10, 1 and 4 watt output. More details about the AC4TV8 can be found here www.voxamps.jp/.

However, we still do not have the exact price for the AC4TV8, but it should be at around the same price range as the AC4TV. Cheers​

Just got my Vox AC4TV. Great sales service by Harmi.
I was really impressed with the sound when I first tried out the display set..the testing guitar was a Hamer (humbucker-equiped). Originally, I wanted to get the cheaper Vox Pathfinder 15R but was totally bowled over by this 'chilli padi' tube amp.
Harmi took out a brand new one but the sound is quite sterile compared to the display set..dunno it's maybe the tube .
I took home the display set.
Once again, thanx Harmi!!!! That amp is sitting side by side with my Gibson LP Studio.
