Check out Apple's new toy: http://www.apple.com/ Watch the video to see how they make the aluminium body. Of course, feature-rich, as usual.

Anyone looking for a recording tool? :)

yeah heard about it in class today. it's beautiful la. and i heard a new OS is coming out next year. SNOW LEOPARD. dunno if its true anot ah.

no firewire 400 on the Macbook , the OLD ones had them

and only ONE firewire 800 on the Macbook pro , is it possible to convert firewire800 to firewire400 with a cable head ?

They've gone crazy. i wanted to order the macbook but i saw no firewire?

how to use apogee or rme or firewire audio interfaces ???

yes theres a 400 to 800 firewire conversion cable.

IMO having no firewire port on the macbook is a major blow and will affect the sales abit. Not completely affect but its a decision Apple probably made after alot of thinking. After all, how many people actually use firewire?

Unless you're a musician who records with firewire interfaces or use a firewire external HDDISk drive. so yeah.

But I have to concede.. they do look good. haha. i wish i had waited before getting mine. Im on tiger now and would have very much loved to have leopard instead. got my mac last march.

01Fw800 port on the 15" model.

No wonder they had the student offer...

it was such an insane deal...300 SGD off your macbook pro and + a free itouch

Now I understand that they're trying to clear the stock and thus releasing the new MAC BOOK PRO!

Weel, reason is bcoz they want to make a more distinct difference between MacBook and MacBook 'Pro'...so if you need to use F/W audio stuffs, then you must get 'Pro'..if you are just a normal mac user, then get the 'no-Pro'...

Ultimately, their marketing is trying to emphasize more on user's experience. Their aim is to let MacBook Pro user feels Pro from the non-pro...

Now the old macbook pro is selling for $2488 almost everywhere and some comes with free 4gb ram upgrade....cool....

And now they got nVidia Graphics on the new MacBook!! WTF!!

My MacBook Black becomes obsolete liao!! TMD!! Haha, time to change to the new MacBook :)
