need some advice

hmm i'm planning to learn the guitar but i know nothing abt it.
is it better to get a teacher or to just learn by myself online?
cause if i learn online, it's free and i can learn whenever i'm free but i think there will be this stage where i will be like. stuck and not improving? :/

also, any good websites to recommend if i want to learn online?

anyway, i've gotten a second hand classical guitar through a friend but one of the strings is loose. any shops to recommend to go to and what are the charges like? would be even better if any kind souls staying the west area can show me how to restring my guitar (but i dont know which strings to buy)
