please help guys!

i got a bass guitar. CIJ fender jazz. and it's kept in a hardcase.
i haven't been playing for a month and recently i wanted to and when i opened up the hardcase.. i saw very very tiny insects crawling on my rosewood.. and i tried killing it but it seen that there are alot hiding somewhere which sometime i'll get to see them crawling out.

is it termites?

what can i do now? please guys.. anything that i can do?

your helps is much appreciated.

nope.. they didn't bite off any of my guitar but it's just that it's white in colour and they're really small.. their movement is very slow. sometime when i look at my hardcase, they're crawling inside. but i have to really look at it to know they're moving because it's so small and slow that i can't really see.

1) use a steamer to kill them
2)put in thirsty hippo dehumidifier in the case, seal the case with masking tape .leave for a few days to suck out moisture thus kiling them
3)spray Ridsect, Baygon etc in the case, & seal the case
4)use industrial hot air blower to kill them but be careful not to damage the guitar paintwork as the heat is strong
U have to check if there are insects in the electronics cavity & may have to take it apart

anyway, i've checked out some videos of termite.. they're suppose to be fast and bigger in size.. even the babies is much bigger size than those i saw on my guitar.. just wondering if anyone of you guys encountered those fellow?

bro, u google "tiny white insect" and read the info there.. apparently, tiny white insects are probably lice/mites.. i suggest you engage the services of a termite/pest buster for peace of mind.

Need Help, Might Be Termites

Listen Dude,

If your guitar is >$500, then call a pest terminator to solve your problem. Your problem is rather huge bro. Get it?

lol spray bug spray and then wipe the strings dry.

why buy a bass if you're gonna leave it in a bag for a month -.- haha

or call an exterminator.

Termites usually leave fine wooden dust and tiny holes as they burrow into wood. If these are not present, probably they are not termites.
Could be spider hatchlings. A strong vacuum cleaner should do the trick.

They're probably silverfish. Can be found in many instruments with hardcases due to the humidity in it. Don't worry, they're harmless but disgusting.
