need help with strap locks

hi all,

i got a new strap and want to move my strap locks from my old strap to the new one, anybody knows how to take it out and put it back?? Having great difficulty doing it mann... thanks.

WHICH strap locks do you own ?

i've got dunlops.

there is a small E clip that holds the 2 "washer" that clamps your strap in between.
You need to use a small flat head screw driver to remove that clip and the whole
thing will come apart.

Assemble back in reverse from dismantling

is it me or is the clip damn hard to remove...

Clip is very hard to remove, there's actually a special tool to remove it which should be found a Fook Hai building in chinatown where they sell the model planes, cars and boats.

A flat headed screwdriver will work in a pinch though, but it will cause the clip to fly out and you can lose it easily. So take your time working on it.
