need help with diminished stuff

hello, can some one pls help me with the following
-formula for dimished chords
-how to use dimished scale in soloing
-wats the notes for dimished scale(as i saw a few dimished sacel not sure which one is the 1)

If i'm not wrong a diminished chord is simply a minor chord with b5 b7 with 3 semitone intervals.

a diminished chord - 1, flat3, flat5 and double flat7 or natural 6

If you've played it wrong but it sounds right - that's diminished! Duh, could be an augmented chord too.

Ah so, so you should go and visit some guitar site and print out the diminished scale. The more you do your own work the more you will improve. Trust me on this.
