Need help with acoustic guitar.

Hi all. I recently restrung my acoustic guitar. But on the E and G strings, there is some of the wound part of the string visible at the bridge pin, as in all the wound part is pushed inside. Is this OK? Do i have to restring it again or will there be any damage done to the guitar itself?

not really a photographer, but i am accustomed to using the camera. I forgot that tis pic is for the forum so i set the highest resolution .
So next time i just make sure i push the ball end lower than the pin?

hmm.. it's supposed to be like that, la. the ball end should be right below the pin. it's normal for the wound parts to stick out a little. just make sure your bridge pins are tightly fitted and are pressed all the way down onto the bridge. maybe you could google and read up on restringing acoustics.
