That was with a very small quantity. If you were to apply it like hair gel it'd turn out so tough that the shape wouldn't be disturbed by even the strongest heading of a football.

Caveat: Shampoo many many if use many many.

i had a mohawk for a day (before i went botak). i ended up using a mix of egg white, jell, and clay. my spikes were 10cm long. before i used egg white they would droop after a couple of hours but egg white is amazing. a (girl) friend of mine got her longer than shoulder length hair to stand straight up using egg white only.

Use gelatine. The type that people use to make jelly/cake.
Pour them out into a tupperware filled with hot water.
Mix it up and apply it to your hair and then blow dry it.
It'll look bloody nice if you get someone to do it for you.

To wash off just rinse it with hot water.
Shampoo a few rounds and your hair will be okay.

never fails man.

Speaking from experience, there are 4 sure ways to spike up.

  • Glue
  • Egg White
  • Gelatine
  • Lastly, "Spray Net" hair spray from Mama shops

Used to spike up my mohawk back in my punk days with these 4 ways. Least tedious would be the last one. The hair spray can is bronze in colour, with black netting around the can. It's like $3 because it's locally made. My mohawk used to be 16cm long, and I used about 1 whole can for my mohawk. So, gauge how much you need. And yea, my mohawk stood the whole day, till I went home late at night.

Spray, blow dry. Still not hard enough, spray some more, blow dry. That simple. But of course, get someone to help.

Good luck to you!
