Need help or advise on PICKUP MODELS

HEY GUYS!!!

I'M CHANGING THE PICKUP OF MY GUITAR SOON. THE PICKUP I'M USING NOW SOUNDS TERRIBLE, MORE TO LIKE DIRTY DISTORTION. CURRENTLY I'M USING LES PAUL GUITAR. I THOUGHT OF CHANGING MY PICKUP TO EVOLUTION BRIDGE DP159, AND I NEED SOME OPINION ABOUT IT. I'M OPEN TO ANY SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF BETTER MODELS.

I got a suggestion. DiMarzio D-Sonic. Its passive but its so hot that its close to active! U cld try it out. Btw, what sounds are u looking 4 and what amp r u using? This info will give us a better view of what exactly is causing ur sound to be so 'dirty'.

Well, for the amp I'm currently using YAMAHA and it sounds ok but when it comes to MARSHALL it really sounds dirty and distort, a screeching sound will occur when I use Marshall.
For sound, what I'm looking for is like more aggressive and louder. Roughly like power metal in a shape of Avantasia, Steve Vai and Stratovarius.

Hmmmm....................it could very possibly be the amps problem, not the pickups. But...........if u feel a pickup change is the way to go then.............well..........go ahead! U cld try EMGs or SD Pearly Gates too.
