need help on rewiring/powering my pedal board

hi guys,

haven't been playing for some years and decided to get back on again. recently I dug out my pedalboard and feels it needs some new juice and cabling. I'm not sure what are the current power supplies that are out now, hence would anyone be able to recommend me one that has enough juice to power all my pedals?

You'll probably want to go for a VooDooLabs 4X4 cos of the Strymons! Those things take a lot of power. Haha.

where can I get my hands on one and the rough pricing? what about the cioks dc10? heard much about it.

reading from the specs of the 4X4, I would have to end up having to "over power" one of my regular draw pedals (e.g. 200mA) as the high output 9V draws 400mA on the voodoo power supply. would this in anyway pose as an issue?

Get a PP2+, use the two high power outputs to power your Strymons, the normal outputs to power your tuner, chorus and dirt and use a current doubler cable for the last two remaining normal outputs to power the DD20.

Thanks for the info! Tried reading up on the mA draws and what it would do if I applied it a 400mA power source to a 200mA draw pedal. Can't find anything. Anyone has tried this?

the pedal only draws as much as it needs, nothing more, so you can't "over supply" current. You can over supply voltage though.

The new T-Rex Goliath is very impressive with loads of options. check that out.
