Need help on ibanez bridges.

heya guys my friend just bought a ibanez grg07ltd with a unreliable fat10 trem.

is it possible to install a gotoh fix bridge on it?

it should be possible but its best to bring it to a shop which has that particular bridge so that you can measure it up.

the thing is, a gotoh fixed bridge might cost almost up to half the price of that guitar. is your friend willing to spend that money?

i tought a gotoh fix hardtail bridge is ard $50? btw just to be specific its the Gotoh GTC101

Actually, don't need to buy the Gotoh. Just get two high-tension springs installed with the three low-tension springs. The FAT10 is a non-locking, dive-only tremolo so you can get the springs to flush the bridge to the body, will cost you less than $10 to get the job done.
