Need help on GT-2 usuage

hi guys I need some of your recommendation on the usage of GT-2

I realise that the "Clean" option of GT-2 is not really clean... I've to lower down my guitar volume to sound clean.

So when i need the extra volume, for example, to do a phase using clean sound, will any of the following: volume pedal/EQ pedal with vol up/booster helps?

I'm thinking more of the EQ pedal actually since I have one.

I also very confused, since GT-2 also act as a "simulator" pedal, do I place it before dirt pedals, after dirt pedals or after modulation pedals?

below are 2 simplest setup i use at home:
1. guitar --> GT-2 --> SD2 --> mod DS1 --> chourus --> delay --> amp
2. guitar --> GT-2 --> SD2 --> mod DS1 --> chourus --> delay --> DI box --> mixer --> speakers/computer

if u mix tweed and clean , you get a really nice overdriven/dirty clean , is this what you want?

what i want is clean sound (not overdriven) but increase in the volume.

In other words, i will tweed the setting of both the GT-2 as well as adjusting the volume of the guitar to find the clean sound that i want.

So my question is how to increase the over all volume (still remain clean) without bending down, tweed the volume knob on the GT-2. Because any increase on the guitar volume will overdrive the GT-2 :wink:
