Better get it b4 the GST increase in July... Sabian recently announced a 10% increase in price... seems like Bosphorus will be the only economical option for many drummers over here... :wink:

Ok... I am getting a Turk Ride or New Orleans hi-hat this Sat morning at Accent. Those cannot make it it's ok as I will be making a few trips down before July to complete my 100th cymbal collection... 8)

went to accent last friday with smil and bliss, basket they close at 6pm sia.. haha

haha ya lah sabian quite expensive la... comparing prices, only during swee lee sales is the best time to buy sabian, other than that, sabians are really expensive, even at yamaha malaysia cheaper than sweelee...
yeah hopefully i will fall in love with the bos..
and another good thing is that im no longer working so everyday free...!

weckish: Accent will only bring in another shipment when the current stocks are running low unless there is a substential special order from all of us here. It is between 1-3 months.
The last time when they were about to order the next shipment, they informed me as I may want to make a special order and it only took only 1 month to receive the goods as it was air freight. No one should complain about the prices of the cymbals when it is air freight. :wink:

like there's new orleans lah, traditionals lah.. quite a plethora of the series and cymbalsonly don't have all of them for us to hear.. hehe
some cymbal company price their goods in size, sometimes series..
so bos also the same?? like a 16" new orleans crash would cost the same with a 16" traditional crash or one of them would be of a higher price???
can't wait till tis saturday, but i heard accent only has like 2 or 3 rides lying around in the shop.. wah liddat how to hear man..

Traditional, Turk, Antique, New Orleans and Staton Moore Fat Hats and Wide Ride are all priced the same according to size while the rest of the series according to its own pricing. Those 3 rides are for display while the rest are in the storeroom. And yes, I do have the price list and available stocks... 8)
hey guys don't mind me asking.. but at www.cymbalsonly.com the price quoted is not in US but in SGD right? haha this saturday = the day after good friday?

compare prices with us merchant sites and with swee lee sites... they have updated cost of the cymbals after sabian price increment with the increase in bronze prices...
but can't really depend on sweelee, their stock is pretty much whacked...
they don't really take care of their cymbals too... best buys would be during sale, other than that, if u have people inside maybe u can get more discount than the normal 20% discount....
but also, if u wait for sale, they would usually display really2 limited stocks and someone would yell to you, "No testing of cymbals!"
but just keep on trying if u really like it and hog it coz there will be other people willing to do anything to get that cymbal ur holding.. haahhaa
