Need help for distortion pedal

Hi guys,

Any recommendations for a good distortion pedal? Need both depth and clarity. Intending to use MI Audio Tubezone Overdrive for od, as for distortion, not too sure yet. Still looking around.

Thought of buying the Metal Muff with top boost, feedback from a friend; it's too thin.

I play rock and metal btw.

Note: If possible, please do tell me which shop sells the pedal you're recommending so i can try it out

MI Audio's CrunchBox is getting a good rep here in Singapore and also U.S. It has massive gain that can do 70's to modern rock. You can add an EQ or OD and you it can achieve stacked Marshall sound... CB is based anyway to JCM800 (?) . Another good option is a Proco Rat, this pedal delivers crunchy rock sound to mellow blues... so it is I think more versatile sound due to capability of getting a clean sound when you roll of the volume of your guitar. MI Audio Tubezone is good since it is based from Mesa/ Boogie but it's too metal for my taste and I don't really like too much knobs...
