I'm changing my Les Paul's bridge/tailpiece as well as the headstock tuners. Don't ask me why, hehe, cause I just want to change.

Tuner: Gotoh or Grover?

Bridge & Tailpiece: Tonepro? where to buy? or is Gotoh good enough?

hey isnt the stock lespaul parts already grover/gotoh and tonepros, unless ur using a copy? erm.. maybe u can check out graphtech string savers.. kinda costly but it will definitely improve ur tone..

Only tuners are grovers... not the bridge/tailpiece. And they're definitely not tonepros.

i overhauled my LP Std parts to feature GOTOH parts, this is the hard tail:

Reason for changing:
*Nickel plated Gibson parts age faster, very appealing for those who wish to relic their guitars, certainly NOT me

*Gotoh locking tuners promote tuning stability in LP guitars which are notorious for getting out of tune very easily

* i am specifically in search of lighter hardware to alter the tone (not a marked change, mind you) of my LP

I see.. I think I might go ahead with a gotoh instead of tonepros. I don't see any tonepros selling in Singapore at all.

1) The reason for changing my stock bridge / tailpiece is due to rustiness. Tonepros are used for the LPs 2008 but is not sold in Singapore.
