After reading purchasing guides and reviews, I'm eyeing on Yamaha PSR-E403, the successor to PSR-295. Hope I can get some advice on whether it is compatible with what I need cos' I'm a total noob around..
I just need the keyboard for learning+practising so I don't want to over spend too though I don't mind considering a higher budget for my next point: how does recording work on E403? I'm getting some clue here but I'm still confused:

Does E403 record audio or midi? I hope to be able to record midi and edit the file on PC. Or can E403 key in notes to the midi sequencer directly? That being said, I don't really mind keying in notes manually :roll:
