neck refinishing

greetings. i need to ask, where do i go to get my neck refinished? and a guesstimate on the cost.
cos the neck on my MM sub is.. not very nice. guess i'm too used to the finish on my jazz, i'm beggining to really feel the unplayability on the sub due to the neck finish. anyone else have this problem with musicman basses? thanks!

whats the finish on your sub and your jazz?

If you need to get it from a gloss finish to a satin finish, all you have to do is to rub it down with some 0000 grade steel wool.

The jazz would also have a very different neck profile from the musicman. That could be the reason as well.

^my jazz has a gloss finish, but i dont know what the hell finish is on the sub. its 'sticky'. i can deal with the chunkier sub, but its the neck finish thats the real problem. and thanks lordie, but dyou have his contact number? heard he's quite expensive though

the sub's neck is painted i think... matte paint finish. but i'm not sure on that
