Hey, i was just wondering what u guys feel about neck dives,
cause i own a sg and i find the neck dive really comfortable and that it gets gripped in my hand comfortably, most of the times, if the neck dives too low, then i just push the guitar back into place using my right arm..:)

chill dude, diff people got diff feel..
how does playing enough affect whether others like the neck dive anot?
i think its more of a preference :)

i actually prefer slight neck dive. not too much, just enough that it sits in my left hand but still light enough to be supported by my thumb

dont let go of the neck.neck dives are like emoish now.an irritant has become a trend.rubbish.

i love the neck of my SG..use a proper and good leather strap and yu'll not encounter severe neck-dives although SGs are well-known for neck diving...i find no problem playing both my SG & Les Paul & Strat..none neck dives..maybe the SG does dive a lil..but that doesnt affect playing...:)

dime: u seem to have problems with many stuff as i've read thru the different threads..neck dive isnt rubbish...its just that the body of the guitar tends to weigh less than the neck & headstock..if it was a rubbish and an irritant...Angus young and many others wouldn't use SGs and Explorers/Firebirds...they all Neck Dive... *hint (keep useless comments to yourself..that'll bring less flaming and more friends)

haha.. yeah leather strap helps..
i started out uncomfortable with neck dives then after i put on a leather strap, helped quite a bit, then the leather strap start to wear out and become smooth, so i just get used to the neck dives and im liking it alot..:)
