The National Arts Council-Arts Education Programme (NAC-AEP) application cycle for 2019/2020 programmes to be subsidised under the Tote Board Arts Grant will open from 19th February 2018 to 29th March 2018. More information will be on our NAC-AEP website at https://aep.nac.gov.sg/ nearer to the date.
To facilitate the application process, the NAC Education Unit is holding briefing sessions on 29th, 30th and 31st January 2018 for artists and arts groups to help you familiarise with the application and assessment processes. During these briefing sessions, we also hope to share with you upcoming professional development opportunities for arts instructors, as well as considerations behind designing an effective arts education programme through a panel discussion. It is also an opportunity for us to share with you feedback from the schools, and for us to hear from you.
The contents that will be covered at the briefing are as follows:
-Overview of NAC-AEP
-Panel Discussion: Planning for and Designing an Effective and Engaging Arts Education Programme
-Assessment Criteria & Application Processes for NAC-AEP 2019/2020
-Q&A
As there will be a focus on the early childhood sector for the panel discussion on 31st January 2018, artists and arts groups interested to submit NAC-AEP programmes for the pre-school sector under NAC-AEP should attend this session. However, if you are unable to make it on 31st January 2018, you are welcome to join us on the sessions on 29th or 30th January 2018.
Registration for the briefing sessions through Peatix will open from now till 22nd January 2018. Artists and arts groups planning to submit applications during this upcoming biennial NAC-AEP call are encouraged to attend the briefing. Please register your attendance by 22nd January 2018 for ONE out of the three available dates.
