hey people! hmm i'm currently working as a sales person at some store, shall not reveal the company's name.. or else i might be dead.

I realise.. that some of those office ladies ARE SO NASTY AND CHOOSY AND FUSSY! can die man.

HMM.. working part time is reaaal sad.. we get scolding here and there. And it's not our fault at all! HMPH.. they are so mean,

so this lady came to collect her thingy, she complain that the thingy is not up to her standard, although we tried redo-ing for her, and i'm really really sure that this time round, her order was really really up to standard. COME ON! we did say that we cant confirm a 100%. But anyway she came down with her mum, another nasty person. Her mum was like: come on dont be lying, i'm sure it's not even up to 10% of what i want.. and they were so nasty! i did apologise to them! and they freaking didnt say anything! IT WASNT MY FAULT!

argh.. sometimes how i wish i could jus yell at them. BUT hell no.. i almost cried. hahahahahaha okok i'm a whimpy. she was hell scary ok!

:( sigh... i wonder why people can be so nasty. we are jus part timers.

and how can i not be a whimpy? :(

Just assume these customers are having a bad hairday or something...

I was once a salesperson and there was this customer who was so fussy and angry that he brought up racial stories ...Brutal!

service industry is like that. i remember for the first 2 - 3 weeks, our shop lost money, cash float lost.

I just feel like breaking their jaws while they are abusing me, although ive never worked in a store, I go to school with people like these.

if u're part timer can juz heck care them.. can juz quit anytime.. full time is a diff story though..

Just shout at them. That will shut em up. Then take em outside, gut them, and make them drink their own stomach bile and watch it run out of their throats. ARGH!

I was once a sales person too and at one point of time there was a nasty customer I can't handle... so I ask my boss for help...

My boss look calm and compose and asked the customer what he wanted and what's the pricing the customer expects to pay. When the customer replied with a serving of a king and a price of a pea, my boss immediately asked him to F@#* Off and there was no way that whatever he asked could be met or done with the expected price... (no joke man---> 1st time see boss scold a customer and chase him away)

Guess customers are not always right...

WHo ever came up with that term "The Customer is always right" ought to be shot. They are not always right, but they are important. 8)

I encountered a really nasty office lady before too. That day, I was buying lunch at Long John Silver. I requested for takeaway so the cashier asked me to take a seat while they prepare my food. I found myself a table and relaxed myself. Soon enough, this office lady in her mid-20s appeared and gave me this nasty look as if I did something wrong to her. I just stared blankly at her, "What?" Then she complained, "Oi I oreadi chop this table!" I looked around and did not see anyone else at the table. I just sat there and gave her the 'Huh?' look. "You blind issit? My Pepsi bottle is on the table leh!", she spoke in typical Singlish. I was like WTF?!? "How do I freaking know this is your bottle?", I thought to myself. When I was just about to explode, the cashier came to me with my order. I grabbed my lunch, headed straight for the exit and decided not to fight with such a puny woman.

Sorry for the rant. By the way, is there such an implicit rule saying that if you place some item on a table, it's understood the seat is reserved?

hahaha nice stories man...

well i haven't had much "luck" of seeing these kind of pple... but hell.. there was once i was really angry with this doode.. then i just walked to a hdb flat and continuously punch the pillar...one of my knuckles has been out of place since that time which was more than half a yaer ago..
haha if u meet these kind of pple.. don't be afriad to argue for wat's right.. well a smart thing to do..is when the woman give that fuk attitide...like WHY ARE U SO BLA BLA BLA!!! U STUPID BLA BLA BLA!! then u just smile at her...give her the biggest smile of your life....then u can walk off... OR after smiling...SHOUT LIKE A FUCKIN COMMANDO AT HER fACE!!
that'll work.. :P

Hi guys, I understand too well how you feel. That's just a taste on what to expect when you come of age to face the world on you own 2 feets.

The term 'customer is always right' is an incomplete term, behind should have 'only when he is a paying & reasonable customer'.

One advise, sum up the situation fast and get help if you think you can't handle it. In any case, handle any case with caution and care, else the result might backfire on you.

Of course being a sales staff, you must be competent enough to handle easy or diffcult sale.

It's easy to get help from a more senior staff, but you can't use this excuse all the time. The boss makes the ultimate choice on a customer. If the boss decide he is better off without such customer, then the customer could even be at the losing end if the shop is the only dealer for such products.

When boys goes into National Service, some of these worldly education is given during your army days. Be good, yet protect your backside.

Being my own boss, I occasionally have to brush off unreasonable or customer who simply trying their luck on the price.

haha listen to mikeman the man...

cuz EVERYTIME U POST SOMETHING IT"S JUST SO MEANINGFUL REALLY!!!
u have like...one of the best and detalied posts for almost every post!!
haha!!

hahahaha! sheesh. All i can do was, 'oh okok i'll feedback to my boss again -smile smile-, sorry that we have wasted your time", cus there were other customers too.

Hmm.. i actually called my boss and hand my cellphone to the lady.. AFTER what my boss said.. the lady actually became more furious. HAHAHAHA.

My boss actually was siding us, he said that if it is a case of refund i'll have to contact my company's lawyer and see what rights we got. and he was indirectly 'shooting' the customer by saying, " you should take our product as a form of art, every piece is different, you cant expect it to be 100% to your standard since it's handmade", indirectly saying that she is not creative to see it as a art. BOOBOO! no wonder she was so so mad after talking to my boss, but i was the one who ended up being ranted on. :(

SHOOT the customer first if she is wrong before she whack you upside down. that's what my boss said.

sigh.. afterall i did gain pretty much experience working part time from job to job for almost one year. cant wait to retake my o lvls maths and go back to sch again nex year! :?

oh gosh...I've seen these kind of terrible customers before and always felt sorry for the person serving them...it's scary even for me to watch. And I got yelled at before too, when I was an usher for my school's Parent-Teacher Meeting. unreasonable people exist. sigh.

Aiyah....bo bian.... I think the 'uncle' syndrome is creeping up on me..... hahaha....

Everytime got teenage jammers calling me uncle......I still young leh (hmmm in denial here).... hahaha...

Haha, just take it with a pinch of salt. Get mad no use one, make yourself older only.

okay. so I shall call you 'kor' then instead of uncle? or how about 'sir'? actually what else can the teenage jammers call you? calling you uncle is a sign of respect :)
