I WANT THE MARK HOPPUS PINK ONE.HOT!

^5! haha!

But what really gets me with the hoppus is it's sheer simplicity... 1 volume knob and that's that. Pink is a bonus.... Haha!

ahkiatt : Yea! Is he the guy that does alot of James Jamerson stuff? If we're talking about the same guy, then yeah, his tone totally rocks.

he didn't say... but he plays for johnny hiland. so why would he still need to tell... we wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. HAHA

-speaking of being able to afford, to what extent is the "amp can make a shitty bass sound good" true? Cos if that's the case, i'd rather invest on a beast of a rig than anything. Haha!

You can, but more often than not, you would not be able to bring your rig to gigs, or even use it at home. There's a minimum volume that you must play at so as to have a decent tone, and for larger , powerful rigs, im sure that volume gonna be quite high.

A decent practice amp, and a REALLY good bass would do wonders.

hi everyone, i'm new here. so here's a list of basses that i dream of.

1) sadowsky
2) fodera
3) ken smith
4) modulus
5) matt pulcinella level 5
6) spector

current bass that i have,

1) warwick streamer std 4 stg
2) fender MIJ 80s fretless jazz bass
3) alembic essence neck thru 4 stg

No. i hope not. i've been using it for about 4 years. it's neck is still good and i hope that it'll stay like this forever... i currently strung it with DR marcus miller stg. what bout you? what gear do u have?
