The Aria Pro needs a set up badly, but hell, still great to play on. Sure man, one day i'll let ya play with it!
As for the Tri A.C., yea, took some advice from Randolf and the Tri A.C. is beginning to work wonders. But it still does take time to tweak, probably less time once my ears get more training and accustomed to everything.

Well, for the Tri A.C. specifically, most people would tend to use it more as a drive effect rather than it's real purpose, which is to operate as an amp simulator. The Tri A.C. has the flaw of noise when the drive is turned up. So, keep the drive to a minimal, for a very slight crunch. Plug into the effects return when possible. If not, when plugging straight through the input of an amp, try to make both the pedal and amp's EQ as flat as possible, say 12pm. Then tweak from there. And it sounds different from the usual 1x12s and 2x12s because it's modelled to produce the 4x12s sound, with the nasal feel to it. Something like that. You could learn quite a lot just heading over, and find out things you never knew you could do with a simple effect in the process.

Edit: Forgot to add, cos the sound will be of a slight break up, for everything else dirty, one could use distortion pedals to achieve the heavier overdriven tone.

i see. so I suppose you can't get heavy rock sounds out of the Tri A.C the way you tweak it?

so you use another distortion pedal with it?

This way, unlikely, unless you have a really strong distortion pedal to take it all up. But this is just one of the ways he adviced me to try out. I'm sure there are ways to tweak it into sounding real hard and evil, all a matter of how, what, and when to do it :D

hey man you tried the GT-2 before? if you haven't, we could exchange for a week or so. Cos I'm also interested to know how the tri a.c sounds like.
