We are seeking proposals from interested artists, arts groups and arts intermediaries with a range of backgrounds (fine arts, music, dance, storytelling, photography and other visual arts) to conduct Silver Arts Community Arts Projects (CAPs) in 2018 and 2019.
As part of the Silver Arts initiative, the National Arts Council annually commissions three to four CAPs. These projects will require artists to deliver participatory arts experiences on a small group basis to seniors, enabling them to share their stories and express themselves through participating in the content creation process. These CAPs can also include intergenerational participation. The final works by participants will be presented at Silver Arts Festival in an exhibition/showcase.
