My W.R. Landy Custom Guitar is gone. SHREDISM_86 is a scammer

i noticed he wrote that nonsense in another forum. it's a pretty pathetic excuse.

don't forget he was also lying to his local community. he tried saying he had the guitar built!!

i will wait and see what happens.

@boothe331: Im a Vietnamese, a softies and AEGuitar mem in Vietnam. That's true, Mr.Dang so apologized to everyone for his fault, he said that will send back the W.R.Landy Guitar to you.

Nice a weekend,

Nguyen,

theres a reason why its soft.com.sg, not soft.com.
why not you foreigners go scam someone else from ur own country.

That's really a strange excuse. I got scammed so I scam someone else?
What a moron!

Good luck to you boothe, hope you get your guitar back, it's really a beauty

Anirudh : +1

I think he who did the bad things is guilty. But that's not mean every Vietnamese else is always like him.

sry to hear that my friend.
You guys do realise the 2 vietnam 'friends' post had only 2 post counts?
Might be created just to say this kinda shiat here.
Might be the same person that did the scamming.

Such a pity, super beautiful guitar~
Good luck dude, hope you'll get it back.

If what those 2 Vietnamese said is true...

Dont speak too soon. The date of joining is way before this thing happened. That would mean he planned to apologize in the future? Post count doesn't really matter.

EDIT:Plus, nothing is stopping the Vietnamese from the other forum from starting an account here to apologize. I'm sure we at soft would do the same thing if the reverse occurred.

i was contacted by Shredism today. He says he sent the guitar and i should receive it in 3-4 weeks. used local post office and i do not have a tracking number. hmmm

3-4 week shipping from Vietnam to Singapore and no tracking number isn't the most credible of circumstances though. I.e. Still dodgy.

All we can do now is hope for the best. I hope you get your guitar back soon, this kind of thing is really too much. Please keep us posted.

Possible scenarios:

1) You get ur guitar back. All is fine and dandy.
2) He doesnt send the guitar back but claim he does saying it was lost in the mail.
3) He disappears
4) It really gets lost in the mail and this thing blows out of proportion.

Since options 2 and 4 have no way of verification, well.

Just hope for no.1

:)

Hello everyone,
I'm from Vietnam, and I'm here for the kindest apology I can think of.I just registered for the apology, but I will stick to the forum because this is a great music forum.
I am from the largest guitarists' communities in Vietnam (aeguitar.org/forums). Please accept a warm apology for your serious loss from me, Dang, and every single guitarist in the community.
Dang gave an unacceptable excuse, which is "paying back". However, it's just a very personal fault that Dang made. Please, all the international dealers, please never think that we Vietnameses are untrustable or all-scammers. We do not say there is no Vietnamese scammer or fraud, but that is just an extremely small population of the Vietnamese dealers.
Dang is absolutely wrong in the deal, and there is NO WAY for him to excuse. But everyone have faults sometimes. Aeguitar believe that your guitar will reach back to you very soon without any damage.
Please forgive him. You have the rights to not, but as I said, everyone deserves a chance.
And for the racists such as "go scam to your locals" and "all you foreigners quit now": what if you think if a Singaporian went on a foreign forum and got some rude words like that?
This is what I received from the administrators of soft.com.sg in the Welcome letter: "We are glad you have chosen to be a part of our community and we hope you enjoy your stay." Every member of SOFT is a part of our community, including me, you, and everyone else. There is no point talking rude like that.
I have been to Singapore once and you guys are living in such a beautiful country. Everyone was nice to me, and I love Singapore so much.
Thank you all for reading this reply. Let our great relationship between Vietnamese and Singaporian guitarists remains and improves forever.
Thank you.

Chocobo.

p.s.: the victim, I'm sorry, I don't know your name: When you got your guitar back, please confirm it to the forums, so that Vietnamese reputation may not lose because of a personal fraud. I would surely do that if the reverse happen.
