Hi, i bought my UX2 from a fellow softie here a year ago. It was fine. But I've recently bought a new pc and am using my UX2 as my soundcard. it surprises me with occasional loud crackling, "exploding"-like sound, like something that you know, irritates your ears like that, that cancels out the sound that you're listening for awhile. I don't know how to explain in words. It occurs every time I watch a movie, stream youtube video or listen to music. what is puzzling me is that there's no problem whenever i play my guitar using pod farm. oh yahh!! when idle it's fine too. it seems like it only happens when i watch a video or when i listen to music. i've tried everything that i could think off..like updating the drivers and all but to no avail. im running windows 7 32 bit. have you guys ever experienced this before? haiya..sad sia.. hahaha anyway, hope to hear from you guys soon. have a nice day!

I have have the same problem as you. Running on windows 7 32 bit os too.
Its not the UX2 problem. Its a your pc problem.
This occur when you are running programs that are ram and cpu intensive such as flash videos and music.
If you have warranty go fix it =)

hahah! guys..are you using the latest updated version of the driver? 4.0.2.7? yeah, try uninstalling that one first and then install 4.0.2.3. its been almost 2 days since i'd done so and so far so good for me. the problem doesn't seem to occur as "often" anymore. eh! come to think about it, it hasn't happen yet. fingers crossed. hahah. give it a try.

-edit-
I've just experienced the problem(20/09/2010). so, the idea can be shelved. tsk. hahah. have you guys tried anything to rectify the problem?

it is the problem of both the product and computer. I spent days solving the same problem with my gx. Can't recall how I solved the problem. basically the crack, pop and lag appears whenever computer resources (ram and processor perhaps) get fully utilized.
