My New Year's Drumming Resolution

Resolution:
- Be fluid with ALL 40 (or so) rudiments and executing them evenly and controlled.

I need help though.

Doing this alone is incredibly boring. It would really help to have a small circle of drummers progress with the same goal so we can hold each other accountable.

Anybody wanna form this group with me?

awesome. lets get this going. We can start with single strokes! How about we share 1 hour jamming studio time? We'll bring a metronome and sticks and we measure how we are first. then maybe 2 weeks later we meet again to see how much improvement?

great idea!

u know, a bunch of us did the very thing. which is organise small groups of 3-5, go meet and hang out somewhere ie. beach or open space and practice rudiments years ago.

i think its an awesome idea ... helps keep one motivated too!! all the best !!!!

no i'm not affiliated to the band hellven. its a matter of coincidence that i created my nick a short while before the band formed. no one copied neither.

Nah, just a carlos with unknown cymbals. I still have to replace some bass drum lugs which are damaged T-T

I can offer support on behalf of The Music Lab.....I can rent out a studio for your guys at subsidized rate of $8 per hour....and if its during off peak hours...I can try to pull out some extra drum pads for you guys to use....
