THD Univalve head from Gentleman JMGuitars. Swapped the EL34 for an Electro Harmonix one which is warmer. Still got the Chinese 12AX7s but gonna change those soon. Even so, the tone is AWESOME! Will post some clips in near future.

Marshall AVT112 1x12 cab arrived yesterday. Surprisingly efficient those Japanese folks... Damn thing sounds awesome but is larger than I was expecting. Had to move furniture to accomodate it - it's nearly the size of a 1922. Oh well.

Uh, I'm embarrassed to say it cost me a frickin' fortune.

thats a little ex i guess. i paid 625 for my 1936 cab from davis. But then again there was the 4 month wait. I guess it sort of trades off. Enjoy your gear

Well, I had originally placed an order with Davis for a 1912, but Marshall screwed up and it didn't arrive in last month's shipment. Janet said next shipment is *June*. I couldn't wait; I bought this THD head and had some cages full of small animals to terrorize.

Well the cab was 'only' $450. The shipping was almost as much. It's the shipping business you want to get into.
