my J5 Tele has a hissing sound...

Hi all,

there's a constant hissing sound from my new guitar, with or without my pedals on. so definitely got nothing to do with my pedals. it's not the problem with my amp also, coz i've tried another guitar with it. the only way to eliminate the hissing is to hold the strings or touch the volume knots.

anyone deal with this before? or is it supposed to be normal? thanks!

Sounds like a grounding issue.. I'd chip in more on a fix but I'm not too sure. Will try to post some fix.
