My funny experience with guitar shops here!

Hey fellas,

I brought my custom 24 PRS with a cheap black strap to a shop for adjustments, after I collected it and brought it back home, I found that the guitar strap somehow transformed into a fender strap. So i stuck to it anyway. A few months later, i brought my guitar to another shop to set-up and when I went back home with it, I found a 100% genuine leather strap. I actually look forward to leaving my strap with my guitar nowadays when I send it somewhere. And if you lost a a genuine leather strap and received some cheap black strap, don't bother contacting me cause i'm keeping it. So my plan for my next trip to the guitar shop is to buy a cheap strap and cross my fingers for a gold plated strap to appear.

Good luck man.
I hope the gio that i leave there will turn in to a prestige :evil:

Hahas just joking but i wont take it, someone might go through depression.

this kind of thing seems to happen quite often. it works if your strap is some el cheapo $4 strap lah but if its some imported custom strap, maybe here's an idea: remove the strap before servicing?

Your guitar case must have some voodoo magic or something. Can I borrow it? I want to add another zero to my hundred dollar note. :p

I once saw a chicken that died from shock after crossing a road. Took it home& had some nice old skool fried chicken while watching G3 concert vid.

My theory: the shop really lost your strap or took it out to a pile of other straps to do the set up, and when the tech wanted to put it back, forgot which one was yours but went "hey, its a PRS, it must have been a expensive strap..."

Next time you do a set-up, Jon, tell me alright. I need some good straps.

@kimura lol wait what?!
hahaha comferm not halal XD!!

ok back to topic....
i agree with theunknown's theory...
cause think about it when maintenencing a guitar the strap will kinda get in the way...
