My cover of The Shadows` Apache

Recorded in the early hours of this morning, would u beleive...I`m just playing along to the midi tat playing back in my Yamaha keyboards. I`m using my Squier Standard Strat, played thru a Danelectro PB&J delay pedal(u can clearly see it on the left) and a Vox Valvetronix AD30VT amp.

Pls leave me comments..I made some errors in my playing haha..: )

hank marvin @ Shadows, classic and rare too @soft. u might want to use a sparkling clean tone for this classic. bit too much preamp gain on the vox or issit the DV cam audio capture?

since u mentioned the errors, i hope u know where they are. fyi, the original version does have a bend on the opening riff 3rd note (D)

Heya Paulo, thanks for pointing out the error..maybe I should have used the mid-bridge pu, instead of the bridge pu alone..I started to realise it did sound a bit too trebly..: P I used the bridge pu cos I saw Hank using the bridge pu to play Apache in a concert dvd that I have.. and yea, maybe gotta adjust my pre-amp gain in my Vox amp..

Ah yes, F.B.I would be another great song to cover..so expect to see another cover from me soon! : )
