MXR 6-Band EQ vs Behringer EQ700

Need a little help! I'm buying either one of these. Give your takes on these two, guys - which is better and all.

The MXR is a 6-band EQ, while the EQ700 has 7 bands. The Behringer is said to be almost as good as the Boss GE-7. So for those who've tried these EQs, let me know which you prefer and why.

PLEASE don't dismiss the Behringer solely because of its brand. You can leave the plastic covering out of considerations as well, I'm not really rough with my pedals.

Let the battle begin.

If reliability isnt what u are considering then its the Behringer defnitely.

FYI, I was very gentle with my Behringer EQ as well... but it just died on me.

another to consider is the Danelectro Fish and Chips. That one is said to be even better than the Boss EQ.

Hmm.

I got myself the bass version of the EQ700, which IMO is better because there is more 'fullness' to the sound.

I've been using it for ages (around 1 year?) and no problems whasoever. It doesn't suck battery and tone either.

I used the MxR 6 band eq before and the boss ge7 as well. I'd go for the boss ge7. No reason why but just a matter of preference.
