musicman G string cant hear

i read some people comment that the E A D string are fine but the G string is not too clear [as in the volume is not as balanced as the E A D string]
is it true?stingray owners?

i do not own a stingray but this sounds like a pickup height problem.

Sometime adjusting the pickup height will fix the problem. Others time it may well be just the pole piece of the pickup that's cranky ..

i'll let the real owners speak though .. =)

but its ok on the 88 SR and 79 sabre

Applies to a 2004/5 Stingray I recently tried as well. Tried adjusting pickup height but it just wasn't as even as I'd like.
