Musician in Singapore?

in singapore or not... is the same. if you don't have the passions, mentality... you wouldn't get any success anywhere.

I'm surprised that this thread is still going! Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm not sure where I will be going in music, but I plan to focus on studying for now since I'm in poly. Once poly and NS is over, I plan to take 2years off to focus in music supposing I don't get into university.

You can also focus in music if u get into a University, but don't join a band.

From what I've heard, many musicians in Singapore actually have day jobs... So in a sense they're semi-professional musicians, since they don't depend on music as their sole source of income.
