Musician Earplugs

Anyone know where i can purchase musician earplugs? Do music stores carry hem or must I go to ear specialists or something? Thanks

yea many shops do, try out drumsresource(not sure if it's the right name), around 22bucks per pair. i bought from there.

I'm looking for musician earplugs, not those large chunky earplugs that block out everything

unless your skull is made of cyborg futuristic technology that absorbs sound and proofs it from your eardrums, you're not going to block out everything. then take a look at http://hearos.com/earplugs/products.html

obviously it doesn't block everything, cause if it does, logically, you can't be able to hear your playing.. so that definitely defeats the purpose..

Etymotic research earplugs from Jaben at Adelphi or Hung Brothers at Sim Lim. They're like 25 bucks per pair.

I've got a set of Hearos earplugs. Designed for musicians. Costs around $28 a pair with the plastic carrying case. Pretty good. I use them whenever I go jamming, but the problem is that they are sometimes overly effective. The bass frequencies are still there, but the mids and highs just seem to have been removed.

Personally, I'd rather just jam at lower volume with an electric drumkit instead. A lot of drumkits at these studios sound like crap anyways. Anyone knows any jamming studios that use electric drumkits?

buy from emart. cheap and good. military grade, battle ready, can block out the sound of gunfire.
