actually, learning anything is good for everyone. do you feel that learning theory will reduce your skill in drumming?

of course not man, i find it helps me communicate with the band. esp when it's my band

i often like to ask the question, do you consider yourself a musician first, then a drummer ... or a drummer first, then a musician?

there is no right/wrong answer.... some of the opinions i've received were often rather interesting...
