Music Shopping Streets in HK?

hi, i'm gonna go away to Hong Kong for a bit. just wondering... does anyone know where the main shopping streets for guitars stuff would be? much thanks to all your help in advance!

I only visited Tom Lee's main showroom at Cameron Lane, which is very near to Tsimshatsui MRT.

Very impressed with the wide selection of Fenders.They also carry Gibson, PRS, Ibanez, ESP. Price wise similiar to what we have in Singapore, dunno if bargainable.

Do search the forum, I believe there are a few threads on guitar shopping in HK.

this may be a bit out of point, but tom lee is no swee lee. the customer service and the variety of guitar stuff there is good enough to make u stay for a few good hours!

Ahhh.. I miss my trip there... I went about 3 months back. Went to 2 TOMLEE branches.

ONe thing i like about is their service. THey put you really into your shoes. I was trying the Alexi laiho signature which I find was quite bad. He saw me playing metal(obviously into metal) and brought me into the private room. let me test it with a roadking rectifier and later handed me an original ESP eclipse with active emgs which was so much better. Solid ass gainnn i would say....

i think u'll save a few odd bucks here and there from memory..not exactly significant but they can get u another pedal or so..it also depends how u're gonna get ur purchases back home..saying only wad i rmb vaguely.

More or less the same. The alexi laiho ESP is at 2.4k here in spore it was 2550 there. The ibanez RG japans are slightly cheaper. I saw one discontinued rg620qm for 800 SING. I really regreted not getting that one. But most of the things are slightly above singapore prices.

My friend told me no one in HK pays the advertised price....so bargain!
