Operation Retrieve Your Soul (ORYS) is a 4-man voluntary operative that began from a dream to connect the world through music. It was inspired by the people who once dreamed big but gave it up or put it aside for the responsibilities the world put on them. Perhaps they forgot, but ORYS serves as a platform to remind and reconnect the lost souls to the rhythm and song of the heart and beats of being.
ORYS serves as a catalyst to create moments for the audience to put aside the daily grind of life to look into themselves through music and conversation, and connect to what is truly important in their lives. And to listen to the truth in music. ORYS showcases local musicians who want to share the same message - their love for music and life.
Often we hear that time is precious and yet sometimes we live our days as if we are immortal. ORYS 6: Do or Die is just about that - soaking up every second of our lives - the good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly – so that we can own every inch of our lives and our souls.
