Multi-effects pedal v.s individual pedals

before i put the 9v battery on my tongue. can some one tell me whats gonna happen?

electric shock?

ok...what ever the case... it has reached a point where i HAVE to do it.

for me at least, multi-fx boards give a more 'digital' sound than individual stompboxes... it sounds... 'dryer' imo... anyway if u're planning to use stuff like chorus, flange or phase, u shld invest in a multi-fx... but if u're like me , comfortable with jus 3 or 4 effects(ie. dist, delay, wah) u're better off with dedicated stompboxes...

Too late I bought the behringer Vamp 2, couldn't resist it.

It was going for 171 buckaroos..

after a many-pedals set up over the years, i prefer a no-pedal set up these days 8)

Pardon me man, but that really sounds boring eh? I still prefer, and enjoy, seeing individual pedals at my feet which i can happily trigger on off to my liking hehe.

HAHAHAH CHANMIN. lets do it againnn man for old time sakes people! but we're adults now maybe we should try the mains..

yea but remember what angus young said... the more toys u have up there on stage, the higher the chance of things screwing up... the best is follow zakk... guitar thru amp with 4 effects pedals... i only need 3 can already: dist, volume, delay... i scared pile on too many effects the sound become like techno music 8O ...

Stuff has definitely been made to be more reliable. And there are things like the Valvulator to help improve tone even if run through many effects and long cables. I choose to think of it as, screwing up can happen anytime, power shortage for example. The risk of screw ups happening i feel is 50/50 either with or without many pedals. In any case if a pedal dies, you'd still have the option of plugging direct hehe.

i believe it has to be the kind of music u play, angus young and co. plays rock of course u dont need many pedals in fact zw's 4 pedals seems alot already for metal lol, but i have like 7 to 8 pedals coz i like diffrent kinds of sounds.

too many effects sound become like techno music? lol its far far from that, think radiohead, mogwai, EITS, etc etc
