Moog Music Piano Bar

I never quite fancy the piano bar since it first came out. It is a good idea, but I can't find any application for it that a electronic keyboard cannot do.

With that price, we can easily buy a good midi controller or a digital piano. If one wants to do midi and scoring, a controller/ digital keyboared is definitely the cheaper option. If one wants to play different sounds other than piano on their piano, the piano bar does not quite achieve that either as you will always have the piano sound layered upon another sound. You cannot remove your piano sound!

So, with the price and lack of versatility, I wonder how many people will go for it. Perhaps only the ultra-traditionalists who go only for the real piano touch and nothing else. The piano bar will help introduce them to midi.

dun noe about tis but all i can say sometimes innovation may not win the hearts of the mass. if you want a midi piano, go get a digital piano; unless it is midi to a big Steinway for recording. if there's a recording for a steinway piano, conventional recording may still be the best.
